After he was graduated from Dartmouth in 1924, Mr. Lamb studied at Harvard and Yale and took his LL.B. degree at Western Reserve in 1927. He is the senior member of the Toledo law firm of Lamb, Goerlich and Mack.

Mr. Lamb is the publisher of the ErieDispatch-Herald, a daily and Sunday newspaper once edited by Horace Greeley. He is also the owner of television stations WTVN, Columbus, Ohio, and WICU-TV, Erie, Pa.; and of radio stations WTOD and WTRT, Toledo, and WHOO, Orlando, Fla. His recent purchase of WIKK in Erie is now awaiting FCC approval.

He is believed to be the only individual in the United States who owns more than one television station. As a result of his emphasis upon local and community programming, his stations have received many public service and promotional awards.

An enthusiastic skier, Mr. Lamb went to Norway for the Olympic Games and then progressed to Switzerland for some skiing of his own.
