George N. Collins '34, senior staff engineer with the firm of Wallace Clark & Co., management consultants, is a member of a seven-man team now in Ireland providing that country with technical help aimed at the rapid and substantial increase of Irish exports, particularly to the United States. The work is being done at the request of the Irish Government. The recommendations of the American team specialists in the fields of management consulting and marketing research, will be submitted to the new Irish Dollar Exports Corporation. Foods and beverages; ceramics, building material, fuel; textiles and garments; hides and leather; and bulbs and seed will be considered for immediate development and export potentialities, in a three-month industrial survey.

Collins, who received the C.E. degree from Thayer School in 1935, is handling production aspects of the project. He has had wide experience as production manager in various industrial firms, as well as acting as a consulting engineer, and teacher in evening schools of the University of Connecticut, Rutgers University, and other institutions. He lives with his wife and two sons in Morristown, N. J.
