The annual dinner of the Dartmouth Club of Tucson was held on March 13, at the beautiful new Student Union Building on the University of Arizona campus.

Normally in Tucson you can plan an event months in advance and know with an almost absolute certainty bad weather will not dampen the festivities. On the night of March 13, however, the heavens opened up and with- in an hour everything in Tucson was awash except those hardy souls who ventured forth to attend the dinner.

In his opening remarks President John Harlow very aptly placed the blame on Arizona's famed but over-zealous cloud seeders.

Following dinner a short business session was held during which Ted Fellowes '20 was elected president, Ben MacMillan '31, secretary. There is no finer person than Ted Fellowes. Tucson and the Dartmouth Club of this city are fortunate in having such a man in their midst.

Bob Fish '18, none other than he of the silver tongue (this is in no way said facetiously —Bob is downright eloquent, as those who have heard him can testify), lauded past president John Harlow for his service to the Club, and then proceeded to introduce, in his own inimitable manner, the ladies in attendance.

Charlie Milharn '06 fittingly paid tribute to the outstanding leadership of John Sloan Dickey. Charlie then told us of recent doings in Hanover. When Charlie Milham speaks of Hanover one can literally see the birches flaming on Balch Hill.

The movie "My First Week at Hanover" which John Harlow arranged to have shown gave all of us a severe case of nostalgia.
