At last we have a complete report on the '28 delegation in Denver, supplied on request by Rick Rickenbaugh, who writes:
"Henry Buchtel has indulged his outdoor activities as one can in Colorado. As an avid mountain climber he has climbed every mountain peak in the state and we boast more capital peaks (over 13,000 feet) in Colorado than in Switzerland. In fact, if Colorado were ever flattened out it would be larger than Texas. Henry and his wife, Bobbie, whom some say is a better and more finished skier than Henry the basher, are both very active in completing the new Faculty Club Lodge, a private club in the Arapahoe ski area.
"Henry has just completed his term as Chief of Staff of Children's Hospital, and is recognized as one of Denver's eminent specialists. He is head of the Medical Division of the Denver Civil Defense organization, and boasts to date one grandchild.
"John McDonough, manager of Denver's Albany Hotel, always used by visiting Dartmouth dignitaries and groups, has recently become also president of the A. G. Clark Drug Co., in Denver. He has served terms as Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Director of the Denver Convention and Visitors Bureau, and is also director and officer of the company which owns the Albany Hotel. His son Alan is taking basic training at Fort Bliss, Donny is at Hebron, and Davis, age twelve, is in junior high school. Beckie - Mrs. McDonough - is just as attractive as always. John claims he has given up tennis for golf, reasons - age and dignity.
"Francis Henry Reynolds maintains a very extensive practice in children's diseases and is considered one of Denver's outstanding pediatricians."
Rick, who is president of the Rickenbaugh Cadillac Company, neglected to bring us up to date on his own activities, but we will try to get him to write another letter.

Despite the misprint in last month's heading of this column, Chuck Bruder is still our Bequest Chairman and Cal Billings is Class Agent. Cal attended the Class Agents Clinic m Hanover, January 18-19. I dropped in on Cal and Genie at their home in West Hartford in January while on a tour of New England prep schools. John and Peggy Phillips had been recent visitors. Cal recently visited Tim and Virginia Paige at their home in Longmeadow, Mass. They have never missed a class reunion in Hanover and are planning on attending the 30th on June 10 to 12. Their oldest daughter, Dare, is a junior at Wellesley, her mother's alma mater. The two middle girls are in high school and Tim Jr., age thirteen, is a Little League athlete.
A suggestion has been made to John Cronin, chairman of the Reunion Committee, that they give prizes or awards to 1) Man coming the greatest distance, 2) Biggest family group, 3) Classmate most changed in appearance, 4) Classmate least changed in appearance (John Phillips and Roy Milliken will be hard to beat), and 5) Classmate least heard of up until reunion. At the last reunion, this award went to Jim Walsh for attending his first class affair - and incidentally, he had a wonderful time.
Fran Young wrote John Phillips that he would miss the February 14 dinner in Boston because he and Anneta will be in Cristobal, Canal Zone that day, on an He de France cruise. Fran said he and Anneta will definitely attend the June reunion.

The National Soccer Coaches Association at their anual convention in January voted their honor award for outstanding service to Dick Schmelzer, former soccer coach and now assistant to the president of Rensselaer Poly at Troy, N. Y. Dick was also elected vicepresident of the Inter-collegiate Soccer Football Association.
Mark June 10 to 12 on your calendar! That is when you and your family are going to be in Hanover for the great 30th.
