Resigns College Post

Richard A. Sawyer '41, Assistant Registrar since 1947, left June 30 to accept a position with the Boston Hose and Rubber Company in Cambridge, Mass. His resignation was accepted at the June meeting of the Board of Trustees.

Mr. Sawyer before returning to the College in 1947 had been Assistant Headmaster of the Cardigan Mountain School andhad taught at Kimball Union Academy.During World War II he spent four yearsin the Air Force, receiving his discharge in1946 with the rank of first lieutenant.
