Twelve years ago the Senior Class Prophecy for Mary Briggs was that she would marry her high-school beauwho was Dick Kendall '45 and have six children, all boys. Mary went on to study at the Sargent School of Physical Education in Boston and Dick Kendall joined the Air Force. But after his term of service he came home from abroad, saw Mary again, and they became engaged. The first part of the class prophecy was fulfilled when he and Mary Briggs were married in October 1945.
Then without a hitch the skein of the three fateful sisters began to unwind, and with the birth last March of the sixth Kendall son, his parents have conceded the power of prophecy, at least in this case.
Lively proof is shown in the picture above, with (left to right), Bill, Bob, John and Tom in the front row; and Kim on his father's lap, Stephen on his mother's.
