MORE than 1400 alumni and members of their families are expected in Hanover over the Reunion Weekend, June 19-21. This is the largest number to return in recent years. The classes of 1913, 1917, 1918, 1919, 1937, 1938, 1939 and 1943 are the reuning groups whose activities begin on Friday afternoon, with registration and settling in at the dormitories. In the evening class banquets will be followed by the President's Reception at 8:45 and the alumni dance at 10:00.
On Saturday at 12:30 p.m. the luncheon and annual meeting of the General Association of Alumni at the Gymnasium will be presided over by Donald C. McKinlay '37 of Denver, vice president of the General Association. Robert Proctor '19 of Boston, on behalf of the returning alumni, and President Dickey will also address the gathering. Following the precedent established last year, wives have again been invited to attend. Later in the afternoon an interclass baseball game is scheduled on campus. Several classes plan picnics and barbecues.
Saturday evening will bring more class banquets, followed by a performance of MisterRoberts by The Dartmouth Players. On Sunday the last events of the reunion weekend will include class memorial services, meetings and luncheons, as well as informal picnic outings in the countryside about Hanover.
