"Jib" Dingwall '16, former president of the Dartmouth Club of New York, was the choice of members of the College's music department. The Dartmouth Glee Club will sing the new song on its tour through the South in March and April.
Mr. Chase wrote Hymn to Dartmouth in Hanover, after he and classmates had a dinner discussion about Dartmouth songs. Mr. Dingwall's musical hobbies have for many years included composing and arranging. One of his arrangements for a Burns poem was sung by the Glee Club in 1951.
