Pennell Aborn, driving in late from Allentown, Pa., joined Austin, Harold Brown,Drake, Newmark, Woodies, Gregg, Littlefeld with a guest, and Symonds at the Boston dinner. It was a delightful affair, particularly to this writer who had not made it the last two years. When Newmark found that we were to again have the Scottish band at reunion, he proudly exhibited a photograph of himself in kilts, depicting the head of the Newmark Clan, He promised us a glossy for this issue, but it has not shown up, so you will have to take my word for it. Austin had just returned from his annual mid-winter trip, this time to Mexico. A number of class sons were present, sitting with their own respective classes, which helped the reunion.
A few years ago '14 thought that with the advancing infirmities of age they would find themselves after forty years, somewhere in the vicinity of the head table; but no, '14 and '46 were close together, way down in the back corner. They probably figured we were so old we could not hear or understand anyway.
Jack Reardon was one of three faculty members of the Taft School at Watertown, Conn., to be honored by alumni of the New York area at a dinner February 6. John Reardon has been at the Taft School since 1917 and is the head of the History Department. He has been active in numerous educational organizations and is currently serving as examiner for the College Entrance Board, which position he has held for fifteen years. He founded the Connecticut History Teachers' Association and has held offices in the Secondary School Society for International Co-operation and the Society for Education for Public Service. He has also taught in the adult education program of the public schools, been a member of the Board of Education, founder of the Civic Forum, member of the Democratic Town Committee (how do you fit that in to coming from South Paris, Maine), has been a member of the advisory board of a local bank, chairman of the scholarship committee of the Watertown Foundation, and for the past eleven years President of the Connecticut Golf Association.
Incidentally, Luther Asa Pattee is lost again. His mail is returned from Box 62, Hanover, Mass. Can anyone help?

There is one addition to make to the program of reunion, for Saturday the 19th. After the Alumni Luncheon there will probably be a brief ceremony for the dedication of the bronze plaque in memory of "Doc" Bowler. This will be on the second floor of the gymnasium, next to what used to be Dr. Bowler's office.
The Bowler Fund has met with a surprisingly good response and at the present time contributions have been received from all classes, '01 to '35, except four. One of these four has promised to be in the listing. Three hundred and ninety dollars have been collected and the memorial is assured.
It has been a real pleasure to collect this money and it is my earnest wish that all of his sons will be present at this ceremony.
