ELECTIONS to the Dartmouth Alumni Council for two-year terms, 1954-56, were announced last month by Sidney C. Hayward '26, secretary. Nominations closed March 10 for Council vacancies occurring on June 30 of this year. As a result of nominations by alumni clubs, positions are being filled without contest in the seven districts of the country as follows:
DISTRICT I (New England States): Robert M. Edgar '28 of Boston, first term of two years, succeeding Charles W. Bartlett '27 of Boston.
DISTRICT II (Middle Atlantic States): Edwin C. Chinlund '29 of Pittsburgh 'first term of two years, succeeding John C. Heston '28 of Philadelphia.
DISTRICT Ill (Central States): Roger C. Wilde '21 of Chicago reelected for a second term of two years; and Lee A. Chilcote '30 of Cleveland, first term of two years, succeeding Raymond M. Barker '23 of Cleveland.
DISTRICT IV (Middlewestern States): Alfred W. Gordon, Jr. '41 of Omaha, first term of two years, succeeding James ECooney '38 of Des Moines.
DISTRICT V (Southern States): F. Jordan McCarthy '26 of Baltimore reelected for a second term of two years.
DISTRICT VI (Southwestern States): Howard J. Mullin '27 of St. Louis reelected for a second term of two years.
DISTRICT VII (Western States): Guy P. Wallick '21 of San Francisco, first term of two years, succeeding Lincoln S. Wilson '13 of San Francisco; and George C. Nickum '31 of Seattle, first term of two years, succeeding John S. Mauk '24 of Seattle.
