To Danny McCarthy, high-scoring wing on Dartmouth's first hockey line, went the Robert Earle Mulhern Trophy. He was hailed as "the student who has shown the most improvement in hockey during his undergraduate years and who best typifies the indomitable team spirit, loyalty and sportsmanship of Flight Officer Robert Earle Mulhern '44 who gave his life for his country on May 30, 1945 in North Africa."
Bud Addis, brilliant play-maker on the Big Green soccer team, received the Norman Grant Clark Trophy awarded to that player "who through his sports-manship and conduct both on and off the playing field shall be deemed to have made the greatest contribution towards soccer."
Through the gift of Colonel William I. Levi '19, the Levi Marksmanship Trophy to "the most outstanding member of the Rifle Team," went to Tom Connor, top man on Dartmouth's great rifle team this year.
