The Class of 'go came out seventh in the final account of the Alumni Fund drive. Four of the living graduates contributed, but one of the living graduates and the one living nongraduate fell by the wayside.

I received a very interesting letter from Grover. He is well and very active. He is still carrying on his botanical work, is Curator of the College Herbarium and is collaborating with a Committee of the Ohio Academy of Sciences in the preparation of Flora of Ohio, a project which will require several years to complete. He also is a trustee and secretary of the Oberlin Village Improvement Society, an office which he has held for fifteen years. The Society is engaged in a long-term project for the material improvement of the town, especially in the development of parks and parkways. What he does with his spare time he does not say.
