Bridgeport

The Dartmouth Club of Bridgeport has inaugurated regular luncheon meetings at the University Club on the second Tuesday of each month. The initial meeting was held in September with incoming freshmen and other undergraduates from the area as guests. F. Gardiner F. Bridge of the Admissions Office spoke at the October meeting to which we invited principals and guidance directors from high and preparatory schools in the area. Mr. Bridge also conferred with prospective applicants and members of the enrollment committee at an evening meeting. The November luncheon was primarily devoted to planning programs for the next few months including an evening affair scheduled for December 8 and a husband and wife get-together in January or February.

The enrollment committee headed by Ralph Sperry includes Builter, Andrus,Handy, Himgerford, Wheeler and Stearns.Norm Locke '41 is in charge of interviewing. The Club is also sending a monthly newsletter to its members with information about club activities, and items of interest about local alumni, undergraduates and the College.
