From the numerical standpoint the attendance of the class of '85 at their 70th anniversary of graduation from the College was not impressive, but percentage-wise the picture is much better, for with Brooks and Mrs. Brooks together with the secretary it was over 50%.

Although both Brooks and the secretary boast that they still drive their cars, they were glad to accept the courtesy of other Dartmouth men who desired to attend Commencement. Brooks and Mrs. Brooks were driven up from Eliot, Maine, by Joseph Hobbs '99 and Herbert Austin '14 drove his father up from Webster, N. H.

No class dinner had been planned, but as guests of Hardy Ferguson '89 we enjoyed an informal dinner at the Inn with Frank Sanborn '87, Mrs. Burt Redfield ('89), Ralph Bartlett '89 and Herbert Austin '14.

The only business transacted was an agreement to observe the 75th anniversary in 1960.
