AT the Commencement meeting of the Dartmouth Board of Trustees, Lloyd D. Brace '25 of Boston was elected an Alumni Trustee of the College for a first full term' of five years. Mr. Brace, the nominee of the Dartmouth Alumni Council, has for the past four years been a member of the Board, serving out the unexpired term of Harvey P. Hood '18, who became a Life Trustee in 1951.

Mr. Brace is president of the , first National Bank of Boston, with which he has been affiliated since his graduation from Dartmouth. He is a former member of the Alumni Council, 1942-44, and also served on the Athletic Council from 1944 to 1947, the last two years as president.

Mr. Brace is a life member of the Corporation of M. I. T. and a trustee of Phillips Academy, Andover, Mass. He also is a trustee of the Boston Five Cents Savings Bank, the Boston Museum of Science, and Massachusetts General Hospital. He serves as a director of the First of Boston International Corporation, Gillette Safety Razor Company, National Life Insurance Company, American Telephone and Telegraph Company, and the U. S. Smelting, Refining and Mining Company.

Two of Mr. Brace's three sons, Robert D. '58 and Richard G. '54, are Dartmouth graduates.
