New Post for Jordan

CLIFFORD L. JORDAN '45, director of sports information at Dartmouth since 1951, has been appointed a full-time member of the Office of Development staff, it was announced last month by J. Ross Gamble, special assistant to the President and director of development. During the past year, Jordan divided his time between the development office, with primary duties centering on the Alumni Fund, and sports publicity. His DCAC duties have been taken over by Theodore B. Emery, who was previously at Michigan State.

Formerly assistant director of public relations at the Peddie School in Hights-town, N. J., Jordan joined the Dartmouth staff in 1950 as assistant director of the News Service and the following year was named director of sports information. He is sports editor of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE.
