FRANCIS GARDINER F. BRIDGE '42, assistant to Dartmouth's director of admissions, has been named Director of Admissions at Trinity College and will officially begin his duties in Hartford, Conn., on July 1. He has been on the College staff since 1952.

Before coming to Dartmouth as an admissions aide, Bridge taught at Hebron Academy, where he also coached tennis and assisted in admissions work. From 1943 to 1945 he was employed in Hartford as supervisor in the training department of Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Corporation.

Among his community activities, Bridge is chairman of the Hanover chapter of the American Red Cross and has been on its executive committee since 1953, when he headed the annual fund drive.
