Philadelphia area alumni enjoyed the Club's first Slap; Night in some time at the Princeton Club on Friday evening, April 13. The program included cards, beer, a buffet, and the chance to renew the Dartmouth fellowship. Those present included some new faces. We hope these men will join the ranks of active alumni in our area.

It's not too late to join our Softball team in the Philadelphia Interclub League—the season just started May 3. Here's a chance not only for fun and exercise but to wreak your vengeance on Princeton, Yale, et al. During the clay, recruits can contact Jack Young '47 at LOcust 8-2131 or Charlie Curtis '52" at LOcust 7-2440.

It's not too early to start planning to take your whole family out to Jim Tindle's valley Forge Farm for the Club's annual picnic in June. There will be swimming, softball, hotdogs, beer, pop, and, we hope, sunshine. Probable date: Saturday, June 23. Watch your mail for details - this is a really big event.

P.S. Have you paid your Club dues yet for 1956? They pay not only for mailings and alumni activities but also for important enrollment work. Any surplus goes to supplement our loan fund for needy students in Hanover. Your dues are a worthwhile investment, not only in keeping Dartmouth active in Philadelphia but in maintaining Philadelphia's excellent representation in the student body at Dartmouth.
