About 107 alumni, with a scattering of guests, were present at the dinner given by the Alumni Association of Manchester, N. H., on May 1 at the Manchester Country Club.

William J. Starr Jr. '33, president of the Association, presided. He introduced the speaker of the evening, Robert A. Rolfe '31, Director of Athletics, who gave us a good run-down on the situation in Hanover and the Ivy League.

Highlighting the evening was the presentation of an original Paul Sample winter scene in oil to the Hon. John R. McLane '07, Acting President and Trustee of the College, in recognition of his many years of service to the college. Dudley W. Orr '29 represented the Board of Trustees and spoke a few words of greeting.
