LLOYD D. BRACE '25 of Needham, Mass., president of the First National Bank of Boston, was elected a Life Trustee of the College at the June meeting of the Dartmouth Board of Trustees. He fills the vacancy created by the retirement at 70 of John R. McLane '07 of Manchester, N. H., who served on the Board for thirty years.

At the same meeting, Albert Bradley '15 of New York, chairman of the board of the General Motors Corporation, was elected to a first full term as Alumni Trustee of the College. Mr. Bradley has been on the Board since 1954, filling out an unexpired term. He also continues to serve as a member of the Board of Overseers of Tuck School.

Mr. Brace, who a year ago was elected to a first full term of five years as Alumni Trustee, was a member of the Alumni Council from 1942 to 1944 and of the Athletic Council from 1944 to 1947, the last two years as president. He is a life member of the Corporation of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and also is a trustee of the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Boston Museum of Science, as well as director of several business firms and banking institutions.

The five Life Trustees of the College now are Beardsley Ruml '15 of New York, Harvey P. Hood '18 of Boston, Dudley W. Orr '29 of Concord, N. H., Dr. Ralph W. Hunter '31 of Hanover, and Mr. Brace.

Alumni Trustees are Sigurd S. Larmon '14 of New York, Charles J. Zimmerman '23 of Hartford, Thomas B. Curtis '32 of St. Louis and Mr. Bradley. One Alumni Trustee vacancy exists through the election of Mr. Brace as Life Trustee.
