As I take pen in hand to do the '20 notes for this issue, it would be presumptuous to assume that anyone can follow in the footsteps of Dick. Will you bear with me then, on this premise.

George Macomber and Charlie Crathern recently visited the scene of their former triumphs - the BAA games in Boston. Does anyone doubt these two gay blades could have shown their heels to any of the young squirts competing today? After which George and Hazel took off for a sojourn in Florida.

Pleasing to note that Ted Cart drove over from Bermuda for the Adams dinner.

Reports indicate that Clint Johnson is making satisfactory recovery in Florida from a serious and prolonged siege. We all wish him a speedy and complete return to his old haunts.

Congratulations to Steve Johnson on his election to Administrative Vice President of the Union Mutual Company of Portland. Steve writes that he has the supervision of all office methods and accounting procedures of the company.

Henrietta Swezey reports that Carroll is convalescing rapidly from his recent confinement in the hospital. Good news from 'Swez'.

Reports from Sea Island indicate that Jim and Ruth Chilcott are relaxing under the southern sun for a few days.

A pat on the back to Charlie Goodnow for his promotion to district sales representative of the Fleischmann division of Standard Brands. We hope Charlie will still make his headquarters near Boston.

The "Dartmouths in Town Again" board of the Hanover. Inn noted that Sam and Marjorie Stratton as well as Charlie and Dorothy McGoughran were recent guests of that hostelry.

Norm and Doris Richardson have abandoned ice fishing in Winnisquam for sail fishing in Florida. They send their best to all snowbound members of the class.

Recent publicity on the new curriculum at Dartmouth has laid much stress on hopes and expectations but little on labor. Bill Carter, chairman of the Committee on Educational Policy, labored mightily and brought forth the adoption of the curriculum.

Leo Ungar, having sold his business, betook himself and good wife Alice on a pilgrimage to Broadway, soaking up culture at all the popular shows. After which some relaxation at Sarasota, then back to Skidmore for Daughter Days with Barbara.

From evidence at hand, Charlie McGoughran did an excellent job in organizing, corresponding and acting as hotel and theatre broker for all visiting '20s at the time of the Sherm Adams party.

Henry Hayes reports that he recently made a hasty trip to Washington from the environs of Kansas City.

Along with Spring - the Alumni Fund Drive is just around the corner. Will the Green Derby be more auspicious than on the head of '20 in 1957?

If anyone has items of interest for the June issue, will they kindly forward them to H. W. Sampson, Hanover, N. H.
