JUSTIN A. STANLEY '33 of Chicago was elected president of the General Alumni Association of Dartmouth College at its annual meeting in Hanover on June 15. Mr. Stanley, a partner in the Chicago law firm of Isham, Lincoln and Beale, was Vice President of the College for two years, 1952-54, in charge of development. He succeeds Howland H. Sargeant '32 as president of the alumni.
Vice presidents of the Alumni Association are Robert W. Gibson '39 of Minneapolis and Ellsworth B. Buck '14 of New York City. Sidney C. Hayward '26 of Hanover was reelected secretary-treasurer.
George B. Redding '29 of Boston will serve as chairman of the Association's executive committee and thereby become ex officio a member of the Dartmouth Alumni Council. Other executive committee members are Malcolm Stearns '08, Wilton, Conn.; Basil O'Connor '12, New York City; Harvey C. McClary '13, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Wayne K. Ballantyne '37, New York City; John H. Emerson '38, Peacham, Vt.; and Richard H. Greene '48, Boston.
