Alumni and their wives joined in the traditional December holiday festivities at the Cincinnati Country Club for the annual cocktail party.

A second alumni gathering the same month was held at the home of Lew Johnstone '41, Alumni Council Member, who was host to prospective freshmen for the Class of '62 and their fathers. Doug Gray '51 showed the latest college movies. Most of the high school seniors present were subsequently interviewed for the Admissions Office by an alumni group headed by Peter Link '42, Brand Promotion Mgr. for the Procter & Gamble Co.

March brought two outstanding events to the local scene. On the 11th, Prof. John Adams, Dept. of Russian Civilization addressed alumni, their wives and friends, following a dinner that was held at the Vernon Manor Hotel. And on the 26th, the touring Dartmouth Glee Club performed at The Cincinnati Club. Their concert preceded an informal dance to which all guests were invited.

A very popular Dartmouth addition to Cincinnati is Harry White '25, who was brought to town from the New Yorker Hotel to play a honky-tonk piano at the newlyopened Lamp Post Corner' restaurant in the Hotel Sinton. His popularity with alumni here is assured: Just let Harry know you are a member of the Indian Clan and "Dartmouth's in Town Again" will ring out.
