Long-time residents of Hanover know there is little point in expecting real spring weather until May, and they also know that when it finally arrives, it's worth the waiting. These photographs show some of the familiar May sights and activities at Dartmouth. Of course, after the editors decided on such a picture story, the weather was unnervingly balky, day after day. But there were enough spots of the real thing to save us, and the title up above still goes. May: it's marvelous.
