The Enrollment Committee under the able direction of Rod Morgan '44 and the Interviewing Committee has had an active year. As a result a large group of high school and prep school boys from this area applied to the college for admission. An exciting event soon to be announced is the awarding of the first scholarship of the Dartmouth Club of Western New York to a local deserving fall-entering freshman.

The Christmas luncheon drew more than too local alumni, students, prospective students and fathers. Tommy Dent, in his warm way, charmed us with anecdotes and reminiscences drawn from his long association with Dartmouth athletics.

At the annual meeting held at the Tennis and Squash Club on April 17, Red Rolfe '31, Director of Athletics, and J. Michael McGean '49, Assistant Secretary of the College, were our guests. Red did a splendid job of outlining the activities of the athletic program in Hanover. Bob Miller '50 was elected president for the coming year and the following were elected to the executive committee: David Thielscher '54, William L. Marcy '21, Hugh A. Johnson '30 and John E. Marlette '46.

At the speakers' table at the Dartmouth dinner in Los Angeles on March 24: (l to r) Dick Hefler '36, Sara Ramsey '35, Leon Rothschild '24 (partly hidden), Rudy Pacht '35, President Dickey, Stuart Durkee '33, Vita Pacht '35 and Bob Purvis '49. In the foreground are Sue and Bill Montgomery '52.
