Whiskers Crowell has been spending the summer in Cleveland, his old home town. With three daughters and their families nearby, he has enjoyed being with them all. By the middle of October he will be setting forth for his old stamping ground, Kissimmee, there to enjoy the winter and spring in sunny Florida.

Marion and Steve Stevens were the only representatives of the Class in attendance at the class officers meetings in Hanover in May. Once again the College treated us royally. The program was changed somewhat from the usual but was most interesting and informative. Saturday afternoon we had the pleasure of calling on Ned and GertrudeWarren at their fine old colonial home in Orford.

Frank Cudworth and his family suddenly pulled up stakes in May and are now living at 475 University Ave., Los Gatos, Calif. The young folks, with three children, two dogs and a cat, drove all the way out but Frank and Elsie went by train. Cuddy's account of the transportation problems, how they were solved, and adventures en route is some story. He has been in touch with Bob Leavens and they hope to represent the Class at the San Francisco Alumni Dinner in October.

The Chases report a most enjoyable visit this summer with their son and his family in Kent, 0hio.... Ned Calderwood, professor emeritus at the Boston University School of Medicine, was honored by being chosen the outstanding alumnus for the year by the Medical School Alumni Association. He received this award at the annual meeting of the Medical Alumni Association dinner at the Hotel Statler in Boston, May 7. He was cited for his outstanding contribution to the University, having served as a member of the faculty from 1906 to 1941, and for his active participation as an alumnus. Ned is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

The Reunion Committee (self appointed) consisting of Johnnie Ward, Harry Gilmore and Steve Stevens has begun to plan for our big 60th in June 1961. The dates are June 9-10-11. Any suggestions regarding this event will be gladly received and will be thoroughly considered. Mortie Crowell is the first to sign up, so let's all follow his example and have a big turnout. 1900 did a swell job this last June and won the attendance cup with a big percentage.
