In spite of frustrations and some misunderstanding, the Class of 1890 held its 70th reunion June 10. Prof. Gerould was confined to his house by the serious illness of Mrs. Gerould which prevented him from making any plans to meet any other members of the Class who might be able to go to Hanover. Rowe, who did not reply to the Secretary's request for his intentions, unexpectedly arrived in Hanover June 10, and called on Prof. Gerould. Your Secretary did not make the trip due to physical infirmities but the reunion was held by Prof. Gerould and Rowe and therefore the seventieth did take place, and we are looking to the eightieth.
We four other living members extend our sympathy to Prof. Gerould and wish for Mrs. Gerould a speedy recovery.
Walter W. Rowe '90 was congratulated during the Commencement Luncheon by Sidney C. Hayward '26, Secretary of the College, forbeing back in Hanover for his 70th Reunion.
