Barry Elson, a 21-year-old guard from Cedar Grove, N. J., will captain the basketball team next winter. A 6-2 playmaker, Coach Doggie Julian feels that he could develop into one of the finest guards in the Ivy League. Chatham, N. J., is the hometown of Dartmouth's 1962-63 swimming captain, Donald E. Wertz. An outstanding breaststroker, Wertz's rise in swimming is even more remarkable when it is realized he never swam competitively before college. He has also won a varsity letter in soccer.
