Basketball coach Doggie Julian has been named to the Helms Athletic Foundation Hall of Fame. He has coached basketball for 28 seasons and is one of eleven major college coaches in the nation with over 370 victories to his credit.

Ellie Noyes has been elected president of the IC4A Track Coaches Association. He is also beginning his second term on the NCAA Track and Field Rules Committee.

Alex Calder '38 was declared the winner of the Second Annual Alumni Golf Tournament held last June. The Upper Montclair golfer covered the 18-hole Hanover Golf Course in 75 strokes and with his nine stroke handicap had a net score of 66.

The lowest gross score of the tournament was registered by Henry Milton '58 with a par 72.

Other leading scorers included Bob Conant '13 with a 72, William Wallace '23 with 72, Herb Pike '32 with 67, Dave Russell '33 with 69, Branford Brennon '34 with 72, Bob Reeve '38 with 69, Jack Graham '38 with 68, and Tom Bloomer '53 with 72.
