JUNE 1962, the date that seemed indefinitely far off when the present senior class entered Dartmouth, is here. And the graduating class of some 600 men, like every class before it, is somewhat unbelieving that four college years have really sped by.
The Class of 1962 is the first to have spent all four years under the three-term, three-course program. In that respect it holds a certain distinction and carries away with it perhaps a special quality that will become evident in the future. The Dartmouth alumni body is always happy to extend the hand of welcome to the youngest class to join its ranks, recognizing in these new graduates not only fresh spirit and strength for its own varied program but also their limitless potential for good in communities and a world that can certainly use it.
