Six of the seven recently announced recipients of the James B. Reynolds Scholarships for Foreign Study will go across the Atlantic for their year abroad. The seventh will be on the other side of the world, in Vietnam. Four award winners are seniors, three are alumni.

The Reynolds Scholarships, made possible through a bequest by the late James B. Reynolds '90, have been awarded,annually since 1951. The awards are $2,300 each and carry no restrictions upon the kind or place of study intended by the recipients.

This year's winners and their study plans are:

Paul J. Cook '64, San Diego, Calif., German literature at the University of Munster, Germany; Lawrence N. Danson '64, Larchmont, N.Y., English literature at Merton College, Oxford; Daniel H. Levine '64, New York City, political science at Oriel College, Oxford, or the London School of Economics, or field work in political science in Sierra Leone; Captain David G. Marr '59, now in the U.S. Marines, Vietnamese at the University of Saigon, Vietnam; John H. Quitter '63, Sioux Falls, S.D., history at New College, Oxford; Robert W. Tucker III '63, Columbus, Ohio, now a research assistant at the Dartmouth Medical School, zoology at New College, Oxford; and Vallance A. Wickens III '64, Concord, N.H., philosophy at University College, Oxford.
