Psychology Conference
OCTOBER 1965

Twelve psychologists from four European countries and the United States met at the College in August in a five-day working conference on human conflict, its causes, manifestations, and resolutions.

The conference, "The Dynamics of Conflict," under the co-sponsorship of Dartmouth and the Office of Naval Research, was directed by Prof. John T. Lanzetta of the Psychology Department.

The scholars explored methods of theoretical and experimental research on conflict processes as a step toward setting up teams in several countries to carry out research projects from the level of the individual through to the level of governments and ethnic groups.
