A play in German entitled Durst by Rutenborn, which has been successfully performed several times in this country, will be taken to Europe this summer by four members of Germania and played before audiences in German and Austrian cities.

The Dartmouth students in the cast of the play will be associated with the "Experiment in International Living," a group devoted to fostering understanding through exchange students who live during the summer in private homes abroad. Durst, which was directed by Prof. Stephan J. Schlossmacher, Germania's faculty adviser, has been presented twice in Hanover and also at Harvard, Williams, and Loyola in Montreal. During June the Voice of America will carry two broadcasts related to Durst, the first a talk by Professor Schlossmacher on June 11 and the second a dramatic presentation of part of the play by the student cast on June 30.

The four Dartmouth student actors who will be in Europe through July until the middle of September, are shown above: (I. to r.), E. Boyer Chrisman '53, president of Germania; Robert L. Jetter '53, vice president; Rolf A. Engelhardt '54, pledgemaster; and H. Randall Deming '55.
