Southeastern Connecticut

Over 40 alumni and wives gathered at Bunny and Bill Webster's '39 Saybrook Point Cottage to welcome the Ledyard Canoe Club paddlers at the conclusion of their annual down river trip, Saturday, May 22. Eight canoes and 16 men made the trip this year, arriving late in the afternoon and really tired after bucking head winds most of the way. Also on hand to greet the boys and rub their backs with sun tan lotion were a number of lovelies imported from Simmons College and Connecticut College.

Our new club hopes to make this affair an annual event.
