President John S. Dickey '29 was the guest of honor at the annual meeting and dinner dance of the Dartmouth Club of Detroit held Friday, March 26 at the Detroit Golf Club. John Manser '26 was chairman of the evening which saw some 130 Detroit area alumni and wives turn out to see the President and elect their new officers.

Officers elected for the coming year were Joe Kabat '58 as president, who has served the Detroit club as secretary for the past three years, and Bob Martin '54 and WoodsProctor '55 as vice presidents.

David Lodge '60 was elected secretary-treasurer and David Ward '59 was elected as his assistant. Bob Wottrich '45, Larry Gazley '60, Stan Klippi '54, and Tom Hall '62 were elected to a three-year term to the executive committee.

President Dickey presented outgoing Detroit president, Hanny Mason '57, with a copy of the new history of the College. Hanny had to make a special effort to attend the party in a wheelchair as he had just returned from Aspen, Colo., where he had broken both legs skiing.

Other Detroit alumni attending the annual party were Dick Brown '29 and his son Bill Brown '63, Dave Moss '58, Dave Williams '36, and Pete Durno '58.
