In their final term of Great Issues lectures the seniors have heard and will hear - and question - five speakers on the topic of "Ethics in American Society."

Professor of Philosophy Vincent A. Tomas of Brown University began the series with a talk on "Humanism as a Source of Ethics" and was followed by Paul L. Lehmann, Professor of Systematic Theology at Union Theological Seminary, speaking on "Religion as a Source of Ethics."

Lawyer and author (My People Is theEnemy) William Stringfellow spoke on "Ethics in Social Action." On April 26, Rodman Rockefeller '54, vice president of International Basic Economy Corporation, returned to campus to speak about "Social and Moral Responsibility in Business." The final speaker, U. S. Congressman Charles L. Weltner of Atlanta, Ga., will discuss "Politics and Moral Responsibility."
