On Monday, October 17 the Dartmouth Club of Southeastern Massachusetts held its fall meeting. Twenty-nine men were present for an excellent Swiss steak dinner. Nathaniel D. Ryder '24 presided at the short business meeting when various reports were read including a short report by Secretary-Treasurer David B. Keith '57, our delegate to the Club Officers' weekend.

Edgar C. Earle Jr. (Gary) '50 who has done a superior job of district enrollment director will not be able to continue hence a new enrollment director of Bristol County must be appointed.

The high point of the evening was Gary Earie's talk on Russia. Both his presentation and his color slides were of professional quality. We felt fully as fortunate to hear what he had to say as his wife and two children felt to be able to accompany him on his 18,000 mile air tour of the USSR last summer. It was heartening, too, to know how friendly and how basically similiar to us the Russian people are. Surely after such an enlightening lecture more than one of those present had an impulse to see Russia for himself.
