This was our initial meeting as a reorganized club, May 12, 1967 at the Torrington Country Club, Torrington, Conn. Geography Professor, Bob Huke '48 came from Hanover to speak of his recent trip to Japan and to show us many color slides of the countryside taken on his tour through that country. This was followed by a stimulating question and answer period concerning the college.

New officers for 1967 were introduced - Reginald H. Post '54, president; MichaelMatzkin '57, vice president; Robert Holmes'47, secretary, and Richard Braman '42, treasurer. The executive committee includes Dr. Bernard Burnham '29 and John Wildman '47. Special tribute went to Elliot Brill'16 and Al English '15 as our eldest members in attendance! A good time was had by all, thanks to program co-chairman, DickBraman '42 and Sanford Parsons '35. We will meet informally every Wednesday noon at the Holiday Steak House, Colonial Plaza, Waterbury, Conn., and hold formal quarterly dinner meetings.

Our August 11 dinner meeting received a real "shot-in-the-arm" with the presence of Gene Ryzewicz '68, who will be Coach Blackman's choice for starting QB this fall. Gene gave us a "fine commentary on the "Big Green's" chances in the Ivy League this year.

We were delighted to have the following undergraduates as our guests: Jim Monahan '71, Dennis Donahue '68, Dick George '70, Bill White '70, Mark Alvarez '69 and James Magyar '69. John Monagan '33, Congressman from Connecticut's sth District, took time off from his political duties to come and dine with us. We enjoyed entertaining our wives as well as several undergraduates' parents also at this affair.
