Members of the Club were invited to a gettogether put on by the New Haven Club at the Qumnipiac Club after the Yale hockey game on January 22. Unfortunately, only a few familiar faces from the Valley area showed up in the face of overwhelming newspaper superiority for the Eli, but Jerry's men did all right for themselves.

Ralph Bavier and Bill English made the trip, and we heard Frank Strong in the background, but couldn't locate any others.

Snuffy Smith, Associate Director of Athletics, will be the main speaker at the February' Club meeting on February 25. This one will be held at the Hop Brook Country Club in Naugatuck, rather than in Waterbury, as in the past, to make it easier for the alumni in the Ansonia, Derby and Shelton area. We are also hoping to hold one meeting on a night other than Friday so that the men in the Torrington area will be able to come down.

Effective February 1, Bob Holmes '47 will take over as Club Secretary, since Jack Jenness is moving to Baltimore to take a position in the Personnel Department with Continental Can Company.

Secretary, Reynolds St., Watertown, Conn.
