S/S Statendam

All this renewed interest is a great stimulation to the Club officers. On March 10, 1967 the "S/S Statendam" sailed from New York carrying with her the elements of a new Dartmouth Club. Needless to say the elements jelled and on the spot the newest Dartmouth Club came into existence. The first annual meeting was duly held and as everyone voted for himself there were five presidents and no other officers.

In keeping with proper ethics we all had a drink, had a picture taken, and compiled a list of those present. They were Mr. and Mrs. Win Weser '23, from Albany, N. Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Alan Welty '27, Larchmont, N. Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Edmund F. Heyn '28, Scarsdale, N. Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Darby '39, Mt. Sinai, N. Y.; Mr. and Mrs. John Hubbard '52, Hudson, Ohio.
