We believe our Club is one of the few meeting for luncheon weekly throughout the year. We do enjoy having visitors join us any Wednesday at the Iron Horse on Maiden Lane in San Francisco. If you want to contact a classmate in San Francisco, call the Association as listed in the telephone book.

Bob Blackman gave 75 of us an excellent talk July 11 at the Olympic Club. He covered recent Hanover events and the football outlook. Now that the season has started we can watch his predictions. Among our guests were Tom Laris '62 of cross country fame, Barry Brink 11 and his dad and Jim Chasey '7l with his dad. Watch for these two freshmen in the football news.

Our annual baseball night with the Giants vs. Cincinnati drew 35 who dined earlier at the General Brewing Company, courtesy of Kurt Christiansen '59. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate and a chill evening wasn't entirely dispelled by the fact the Giants won the game.

As this goes to Hanover we are anticipating a visit at our October 4 luncheon with Leonard Reiser '44, Provost at Hanover. We expect to find out how the college year started and "how well we can expect the team to do this fall. Our Dartmouth Night celebration will be at Veneto's Restaurant on October 13 with Wayne Cliff '55 in charge of the program. And a busy Dartmouth October will end on the 20th with the second annual Harvard-Yale-Princeton- Dartmouth Scholarship Ball. This year it will be held at the San Francisco Golf Club 6 to 10 P.M. Bob King '57 and Ben Webb'4O are heading up our participation in this worthy affair. Last year there were forty Dartmouth couples attending and we expect even more this time. Best of all, we do now have a growing scholarship fund.

Jack Clow '52, our National Enrollment Committeeman, has things really churning and we expect to bombard Eddie Chamberlain '36 with more applicants than ever for the class of 1972. Several recent grads have joined Jack's committee and we expect soon to be able to say we have covered all of Northern California.

Come join us any Wednesday at the Iron Horse.
