Professor Richard A. Parker '30 is the author of "King Py, a Historical Problem" (in English) in the Zeitschrift fur AgyptischeSprache und Altertumskunde, Akademie Verlag, Berlin, 1966.

W. H. Ferry '32 is the author of "Memorandum to: Chief, Directorate for Plans and Programs, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs)" in Volume 1, Number 1, October-November 1967, of The Center Magazine, published by the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions. He is also the author of "The Corporation for Good as Well as Gain" in Center Diary: 18, May-June 1967; and is a contributor to The University in America, a published collection of talks and discussions from the Center's 1966 convocation on that subject. Mr. Ferry's "Economic Institutions and Democracy" has been published as a pamphlet in London by the Society for Democratic Integration in Industry.

Theodore V. Purcell '33 has written "Work Psychology and Business Values" for Personnel Psychology, Vol. 20, No. 3, Autumn 1967.

"Complementary Algebra" by Frederick M. Lewis '36 appears in the Electrical Engineer of August 1967.

Associate Professor George Turner '47 has contributed "Princess on a Rocking Horse" to the fall issue of Studies in ShortFiction. The article deals with the background of D. H. Lawrence's short story, "The Rocking-Horse Winner."

U. S. Geological Survey Professional Paper 575-C (pages C10-C19) carries a paper by -Bruce Bryant '51 entitled "The Occurrence of Green Iron-Rich Muscovite and Oxidation During Regional Metamorphism in the Grandfather Mountain Window, Northwestern North Carolina."

Ian M. Lange '62 is co-author of "Evidence for Sulfurization and the Origin of Some Sudbury-Type Ores" in MineraliumDeposita 2 (80-94, 1967).

Stanley L. Sclove '62 has co-authored for The American Statistician, October 1967, an article entitled "Further Remarks on the Expectation of the Reciprocal of a Positive Random Variable."
