Four seniors and four alumni have been named recipients of the College's James B. Reynolds Scholarships for Foreign Study for 1967-68. The Reynolds Scholarships are made possible through a bequest by the late James B. Reynolds, Class of 1890, and have been awarded annually since 1951.

Senior winners of the $2500 grants (plus a special supplement to cover increased tuition costs for students going to England) are James Damon of Baltimore, Md., who plans to study mathematics at Magdalen College, Oxford University; Thomas Maremaa of Cleveland, Ohio, who will study comparative litera- ture at the University of Zurich, Switzerland; John Wakefield '65 of Grand Rapids, Mich., who hopes to study political science at the London School of Economics and Political Science in England; and Jeffrey L. Zorn of Dorchester, Mass., who will use his Reynolds Scholarship to study classics at Magdalen College, Cambridge.

Among the alumni winners, Dale Carr '62 of Des Moines, lowa, will study organ music under Prof. Gustav Leon-hardt in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Carr has completed a master's degree at the University of California at Berkeley.

Three of the alumni Reynolds Scholars were graduated summa cum laude last year. Richard Dellamora '66 of Detroit, Mich., will continue his study of English literature at Queen's College, Cambridge University. He is studying there this year under a Dartmouth General Fellowship, and is also a Danforth Fellow. Stephen Hladky '66 of Ridgewood, N. J., has been awarded a Reynolds Scholarship for the study of biophysics at King's College, Cambridge. He is a Henry Fellow this year at Cambridge. Peter Reichard '66 of Arlington, Va., will study philosophy- politics-economics at Worcester College, Oxford University.
