Two new, and very handsome, rock maples recently appeared in the lawn in front of Sanborn House, courtesy of the Class of 1950's Tree Replacement Program. The trees, appropriately identified with plaques reading "Rock Maple. Planted 1967 by the Class of 1950," were officially welcomed to the Baker-Sanborn lawn by President Dickey and '50 class officers during Class Officers Weekend. These trees, and many others to come under the 1950 Tree Replacement Program, are paid for by a special class fund, supported in good part by class dues.
