Despite an unscheduled St. Patrick's Day snowstorm, the 1967 Dartmouth College Glee Club Concert can be termed an overwhelming success. The Rochester Dartmouth community, and friends of said community, enthusiastically greeted the Hanover songsters at East High Auditorium and were appropriately rewarded with an evening of fine music. The excellent concert was followed by an equally enjoyable and well attended party at the Genesee Valley Club where the Injunaires continued the musical entertainment. Many thanks go to co-chairmen Frank Strong '56 and Wayne Givens '60 whose untold hours of planning and arranging contributed much to the evening's success. Aside from the officers, who all helped on the committee, special thanks go to Lan Cady '57, publicity; Jack Carey program; Ross Woodbridge '36, programs; and Doug Whitney '60, dates - the all important commodity for the undergrads on their first stop after exams. Lastly, the concert was also a financial success with about $1,000 being added to the Rochester Regional Scholarship Fund at Dartmouth.
Next on the agenda is the Annual Meeting which is being organized by Eliot Smith'55. Seaver Peters '54, newly designated Director of Athletics, has been obtained as guest speaker for what should be an interesting meeting.
News of other area alumni finds that John Osborn '45 has been elected to the Alumni Council and that Vin Tibbals '42 has become a member of the NEC. Also, Henry Williams '52 has been elected a member of the Monroe County legislature.
