Folk Concert October 14

The Class of 1969 and Hopkins Center have announced their joint presentation of folk singers Simon and Garfunkel in a Leverone Field House concert on the evening of Saturday, October 14. This third annual fall folk concert will add a top event to the homecoming football weekend of October 13-14 when Dartmouth Night will be held and the Dartmouth-Pennsylvania game will provide the north country's main gridiron attraction. Many alumni classes will be in town for informal fall reunions.

Simon and Garfunkel have been together as a folk group for ten years and have sold over six million records. Their Hanover concert is scheduled for 8:30 Saturday evening, and unreserved seats are available at $2.50 and $3.50. Tickets may be ordered by writing the Hopkins Center Box Office or telephoning (603) 646-2422. Those paid for in advance will be held at Leverone Field House; otherwise tickets must be picked up at the Center box office. Gene Pinover '69 is concert chairman.
