L. William Seidman '43 of Grand Rapids, Mich., a partner in the accounting firm of Seidman & Seidman, is the president of the General Association of Alumni of Dartmouth College for 1967-68. His election was announced at the annual meeting following the Commencement Luncheon on June 10.

Mr. Seidman is a top adviser to Governor Romney of Michigan in the fields of finance and taxation. He was special assistant to the governor in 1963 and currently he is a member of his fiscal task force. Holder of the LL.B. degree from Harvard Law School (1948) and the M.B.A. degree from the University of Michigan (1949), Mr. Seidman is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is chairman of the board of control of Grand Valley State College, which he helped to establish, and serves on the boards of a number of community and state organizations. He was the Republican nominee for State Auditor General in 1962.

Three vice-presidents of Dartmouth's General Alumni Association, also elected on June 10, are Gene W. Markey '18 of Lexington, Ky.; Gilbert C. Swanson '28 of Omaha, Neb.; and John O. Zimmerman '32 of Amityville, N.Y.J. Michael McGean '49 of Hanover was reelected secretary-treasurer.

The Association's executive committee for 1967-68 is headed by Harrison F. Dunning '30 of Moylan, Pa., as chairman. Other members are Francis A. Harrington '33, Worcester, Mass.; Henry Necarsulmer '34, New York City; Charles Gilman Jr. '52, New York City; Edward J. Spiegel '53, Chicago; Rodman C. Rockefeller '54, New York City; and Rodman A. Frates '58, Oaklahoma City, Okla.
