On Tuesday, August 27, we held a dinner meeting at Pritchett's Kitchen, honoring the undergraduates and incoming freshmen and their fathers. We had a total attendance of 22, including two prospects for the Class of 1973 and their fathers. After a delicious fried chicken dinner, washed down in the good Dartmouth tradition with an abundance of cold draft beer, we had a most informative and interesting discussion of Today," led by Mike Sateia '70, Neal Betancourt '71, and Mike Brune '69. From the viewpoint of all those attending, it was agreed that this was a most successful meeting. It showed that establishing this line of communication between the undergraduates in Hanover today and us "oldsters" can do much to breach the generation gap that exists along with too much misunderstanding. We heartily recommend this type of meeting to other Alumni Clubs. We in Jacksonville hope to make it an annual event.
