Hawaii

The Dartmouth Club of Hawaii met Monday afternoon, December 11, for the purpose of electing new officers and to hear guest speaker Kenneth H. Rogers '59 discuss admissions. The following officers were elected: Cline Mann '45, president; TomConger '61, vice president; Paul Loo '52, treasurer and William Bahrenburg '58, secretary. Response was very enthusiastic with over 30 members attending.

In addition to the above the following were present; Robert Macaulay '24, Rev. Charles Brewster '27, Bert Gross '30, A. W. Laughton '31, Roger Benezet '32, Dick Morris '38, Ralph Van Orsdel '38, William Thompson '42, Rev. Ford Coffman '42, John Muchemore '43, Cline Mann '45, Jim Doole '45, August Farnsworth '49, Bill Dunford '50, Conrad Bouhuslav '50, Dr. Calvin Sia '50, Paul Loo '52, Bey Yee '53, Glen Derr '55, Lcdr. Ralph Patterson '57, William Bahrenburg '58, Paul Wysard '58, Lt. Gordon C. Wentworth '61, Mike Nyquist '63, Peter Escherich '64 and Ensign Roger Meade '65.

Taking office President Cline Mann said the Dartmouth Club of Hawaii had dropped from a high point in 1946 with regular monthly meetings to a low ebb of meeting once every year. It was decided that we should meet quarterly and it looks like the rejuvenation of the Dartmouth Club of Hawaii is well under way.
