Dartmouth's 55th annual Alumni Fund campaign, which ended June 30, is expected to total just over $2 million from some 21,000 donors, according to Fund Chairman Richard D. Lombard '53. On June 30 the Fund Office was still tallying gifts and the homestretch volume was reportedly the largest in history. Fund income of about $230,000, which will be added in July, should bring the final total to over the $2-million mark. This is some $147,000 behind last year's record results and the official 1969 goal, but Chairman Lombard indicated that this year's results were "most heartening in view of the Third Century Fund campaign and some of the problems faced this spring." A final report will be issued to Class Agents in August and printed in a fall issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE.
